Lady Gaga drama be damned. “Weird Al” Yankovic’s vision of his upcoming album is thriving, and he will be bringing his tour, chock-full of megahits, to the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan this Memorial Day weekend.
Tickets for the May 28 date are on sale next Friday, April 29, at 10 a.m., starting at $29. That’s well worth it for hours and hours of classic parody tunes like “Eat It,” “Fat,” and “White And Nerdy,” right?
For more than three decades, Yankovic has playfully jabbed just about every one-hit wonder and icon in the music business. On hiatus since his last album in 2006, he gets to unleash his wit on an entirely new breed of pop stars when his untitled new album drops in June.
