Get stoked, Hush Sound fanatics. First, The A.V. Club gave away tickets to the band’s one-time reunion show Dec. 26 at Metro. Now, we have passes for ticketed guests to the exclusive official Miller Lite after-show party upstairs at Metro, featuring a DJ set by the band and complimentary food and beverages.

Interested in this once-in-a-lifetime event? Availability is limited, so be sure to R.S.V.P. to avclub@tribune.com. Oh, and all respondents must be 21 and over, okay?

When it started in 2005, The Hush Sound’s vaguely anachronistic, bouncily vaudevillian pop wasn’t really in keeping with the prevailing emo trends, but that’s what made it work. Live, the Chicago group was charming, but not cloying. The band scored a record deal thanks in part to fans in high places, namely Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and Ryan Ross of Panic! At The Disco, both of whose bands the group ultimately toured with before they went on hiatus in 2008. All the members have moved on now to other projects—Gold Motel, Stamps, Debate Team, and This Is Me Smiling.
