Tennis is apparently very cryptic.

The A.V. Club has a pair of tickets for two happening shows this month. On Dec. 9, singer-songwriter Bryan Greenberg brings his CW series soundtrack-ready dreamy folk to Lincoln Hall. On Dec. 10, Tennis warms up Schubas with its summery pop. To win, interested parties should e-mail ochicago@theonion.com and include either “Greenberg” or “Tennis” in the subject line. Please make sure to include a full name in the body of the message.

Along with his music career, Bryan Greenberg has enjoyed success in television and film. This dreamsicle has appeared in television’s One Tree Hill and the film Bride Wars, to name a couple of roles. Greenberg leveraged his star power to score a collaboration with Kid Cudi, helping him to make up some ground on Joshua Radin in pursuit of becoming the greatest teeny-bopper version of Elliott Smith.

Last year, a husband and wife with no prior sailing experience set out on an eight-month sailing voyage along the East Coast. Along with the quality time spent together, the duo gained inspiration to write music as the band Tennis. Although the band’s groovy, lo-fi tunes invoke more West Coast than East Coat imagery, a little bit of Tennis’ sunshine in December could do a soul some good.
