Chicago’s own Cave is known for its drawn-out jams and psychedelic alt-rock. The band’s well-crafted explorations have earned it spots at the Pitchfork Music Festival and a deal with Drag City Records. Cave’s latest album, this year’s Neverendless, had just five songs, a mix of hypnotic sounds and sweet tension.
Thrill Jockey recording artist Glenn Jones' latest record, The Wanting, is a '60s influenced collection of simple songs, finger picking, and the occasional banjo twang. The founder of rock group Cul de Sac, Jones has continued to tour solo with soul.
