Garotas Suecas is a six-piece band from São Paulo, Brazil that blends North and South America both in language and music. Its Latin-tinged, jazzy rock features both Portuguese and English lyrics. When listening to this group of self-proclaimed “soulful jazzy motherfunkas and a motherfunkette,” one should be prepared for punchy horns, psychedelic organs, and the occasional harmonica solo.
