Contest Win tickets to see Jonathan Coulton at Park West

Multi-instrumentalist dork-rocker Jonathan Coulton will be playing Park West Friday April 22, and The A.V. Club is equipped to supply three very special readers with a pair of tickets. If interested, e-mail ochicago@theonion.com with the subject line “Jonathan Coulton.” Winners will be drawn April 20.

In 2003, the teddy-faced Yale alum made the transition from coding C++ to creating folk pop renditions of “Baby Got Back” and composing songs about science fiction, bacteria, and, of course, zombies.

Currently working on his eighth full-length album, Artificial Heart, to be produced by none other than They Might Be Giants’ John Flansburgh, Coulton has built his empire on social networking and cheap laughs.

Catch him before the recording process begins on Coulton’s first full-band tour. Losers (of all ages) can begrudgingly shell out 25 smackers (not including fees) on Coulton’s show, which features Paul And Storm.
