Contest Win tickets to see Melvins perform at Double Door

The A.V. Club is giving out free tickets to bask in the glory of the ’90s with Melvins. And while you’re busy soaking up the memories and enjoying the performance by the fathers of grunge, you can simultaneously enjoy the ludicrous mane resting on King Buzzo’s head bobbing to the beat. Dual drummers Coady Willis and Dale Crover will be laying down the beat for King Buzzo and bassist Jared Warren as they perform their albums Lysol, Eggnog, and Houdini on May 31, while the performance on June 1 will be filled with hits from albums Bullhead and Stoner Witch. The show promises to be an interesting change of pace from the run-of-the-mill concert where artists try to advertise their new albums while fans chant for their by-gone hits.
