Contest Win tickets to see Michael Ian Black in Milwaukee, plus Amtrak passes to get there

Each month, The Onion and The A.V. Club will send one lucky winner and a friend to a concert/show in Milwaukee, along with a pair of roundtrip Amtrak Hiawatha tickets. This month’s winner will see Michael Ian Black Sept. 17 at the Turner Hall Ballroom. To enter, e-mail rsvpmilwaukee@theonion.com with the subject line “Mil Amtrak Michael Ian Black.”

The cover of comedian/actor/writer Michael Ian Black’s latest stand-up album, Very Famous, is a parody of the cover of Dr. Dre’s 1992 hip-hop album, The Chronic, the cover of which alludes to the image on a pack of Zig Zag cigarette rolling papers. This rather ridiculous parody of an allusion is just one example of Black’s unique comedy. You can find Black in such television shows as Stella, Ed, and Reno 911. As a comedian, he possesses a combination of dry sarcasm, story telling, and an unusual take on life. For example, he recently tweeted, “I can do things with my thumb that most animals can only dream about.”
