Win tickets to see The Dø at Schubas Sept. 13
The Dø will make Schubas one of 12 destinations on its current North American tour this Monday, Sept. 13. What’s more, The A.V. Club is giving away a pair of tickets to the show. By applying classical training and an affinity for jazz improvisation to rock music, The Dø achieves a fresh, eclectic style. The duo cites Björk, Igor Stravinksy, and Wu-Tang Clan as a few influences on its successful sound. The Dø’s 2008 debut, A Mouthful, became the first album sung in English to top the French charts. After spending the last several months working on its sophomore studio album, The Dø brings its talents to North America for the first time in nearly a year.
