Contest Win tickets to Tim Reynolds And TR3 or Tribes

From the age of 8, Tim Reynolds has been honing his craft as a multi-instrumentalist. His career started with piano lessons from parents, but Reynolds moved on to electric and acoustic guitar, and today plays everything from the pan flute to the sitar. The sometimes guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band has revived a trio of musicians for TR3, whose blend of funk, country, and rock was recently released on their live album, From Space And Beyond.

British band Tribes only formed last year, but their releases have already earned them top spots on radio stations and at festivals across the globe. Relying heavily on the use of power chords, Tribes’ songs can easily be classified as anthemic. The group has been making waves on the other side of the pond, with its single “We Were Children” being labeled the Hottest Album of the Year by BBC’s DJ Zane Lowe. Tribes’ debut album, Baby, will drop in January 2012.
