Yeah Yeah Yeahs to replace Beastie Boys at Lollapalooza
Lollapalooza has already found a replacement act for the Beastie Boys, who had to bow out yesterday because of Adam Yauch's newly diagnosed cancer: New York City's Yeah Yeah Yeahs will be headlining. The group will play Saturday, August 8, at 8:30 p.m. on the Budweiser stage, going up against Tool and Bassnectar.
As far as fest acts go, this one's worthy of your time: Karen O is known for amped-up live shows, as was evident when the band swung through the Aragon Ballroom in May.
