Yet another three-day fest: North Coast Music Festival in Union Park on Sept. 3-5

No related

With the Pitchfork Music Festival, Lollapalooza, and a host of other fests each summer, Chicago isn't exactly starved for exhausting, mammoth music events. But one more isn't overload, right? Time Out Chicago reports that the “first annual” (how optimistic) North Coast Music Festival is scheduled for Union Park on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-5, 2010. Although no acts have been announced, promoters Silver Wrapper, React, Cold Grums, Kingtello, and Metronome will share the responsibility of booking artists, and the festival's Facebook page promises "cutting edge electronic, indie, hip hop, jam and rock & roll artists." Follow the festival's Twitter feed and its official website for upcoming lineup and ticket announcements. We can already feel our legs aching.
