There’s something out of this world about 12th Planet. Pumping jungle and dubstep, the musician creates a sound different from that of his better-known pal with whom he regularly performs, dubstep all-star punch line Skillrex. Maintaining a much softer but still bass-filled sound, 12th Planet seems poised to convince audiences that there are some legitimately extraterrestrial components to his music. Come to think of it, 12th Planet’s music would be great alien entrance music in any science fiction film.
