Local chamber-pop collective Scotland Yard Gospel Choir was involved in an accident on I-65 in Indiana this month en route to the MidPoint Music Festival in Cincinnati. All six members were hospitalized after their van blew out its rear passenger tire, and two remain in the hospital. This benefit concert is to help the band recuperate financial losses due to medical bills and loss of equipment in the accident. Local bands like Canasta will play, and SYGC's latest, …And The Horse You Rode In On, released in September, will also be available. Expect a few of the band's most recovered members to make an appearance.
