None Cameron Esposito, Mike O'Connell, John Loos, John Newton, and William Shunn at The Book Cellar
A young, perky go-getter, it's not surprising that local comedian Cameron Esposito recorded her debut album, Grab Them Aghast, at the same Lincoln Lodge stage where she honed her bubbly persona and effervescent storytelling. While some comedians create humor through tactful self-deprecation, Esposito, the self-proclaimed "purveyor of fine jokes," feels damn good about herself, and it's her cheery disposition that steers the audience clear of any awkwardness on her behalf. Expect a story or two about the difficulties she's had with her family since she started dating a woman, a potentially uncomfortable topic that the skillful stand-up manages to seem lighthearted and silly.
