The perpetual grin on Men At Work singer Colin Hay might be temporarily turned upside-down after recent reports alleged that the band’s guitarist, Ronald Strykert, made death threats against him. Though it was apparently over the phone, it's clear that no musical reunion is planned in the near future. Instead, Hay, who brought the world infectious pop songs like “Who Can It Be Now?” and “Down Under,” forges ahead with a solo career. He’s spent the last couple of years touring endlessly behind 2007's Are You Looking At Me—not to mention contributing a track to the popular Garden State soundtrack and popping up on the TV show Scrubs—but a forthcoming record called American Sunshine should provide some much-needed sunniness to his year so far.
