Self-billed as a “poor man’s Cirque du Soleil,” ECC backs that up with acrobats, clowns, and yes, freak shows, all milling about and entertaining in a manageable performance space at this monthly event. It can be a crapshoot who performs—an audience “might see five silk acts from five different companies or… a 6-year-old Russian trapeze artist”—but the price is hard to beat.
