Forget Cassettes is to Nashville what The White Stripes are to Detroit: arguably that city's best co-ed alt-rock duo. As Jack White and his ex-wife's band have fallen to the background as he pursues other, more conventional groups, Forget Cassettes frontwoman Beth Cameron has been more focused on keeping her group together. It hasn't been easy: The group's status seemed uncertain when longtime bandmate and drummer Doni Schroader famously got scooped up to beat the skins for ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead last decade. FC soldiered on with new members and released the sinewy Salt in 2006. More recently, Cameron and Schroader reunited as a duo, first as the side project Eliza The Arrow, and now back under the Forget Cassettes moniker.
