Keyboard player Isaiah "Ikey" Owens and his other band, Free Moral Agents, harness unwieldy twinkles of electronic noise, Mendee Ichikawa's melodic vocals, and a hint of Mars Volta's desert-acid-trip guitar style, generally indulging more of a shadowy pop sensibility.
