Frightened Rabbit is an indie-rock band from Glasgow that sounds a lot like Neutral Milk Hotel, The Long Winters, and any number of other bands that make haunted, tussled, and ever-so-slightly deranged music. The sound plays well into the mix of The Midnight Organ Fight, an excellent album that circles the thematic drain of failed relationships and bad sex—and somehow finds hope in swells of crushing hopelessness. Frightened Rabbit has been touring like mad during the last year, and the band’s live rep has grown—so much so that it recently put out a live album called Liver! Lung! Fr!
