That’s Gil Mantera’s Party Dream, an outrageous group that plays over-the-top synth-rock like it’s the only kind of music that could ever matter. The band’s Dreamscape also adds a touch of New Order’s New Romantic sentimentality to the mix. This turn is a bit odd, considering the band’s best known for its tongue-in-cheek live show, which usually finds Mantera jumping around the audience in a thong and/or lighting his pubic hair on fire.
