Like most of Williams’ discs, it’s a schizoid mix of his grandpa’s dusky honky-tonk and formulaic hardcore shout-outs about getting ripped up and fixin’ to wrassle—or as “P.F.F.” puts it, “punch, fight, and fuck.” Williams is joined here by his punk-metal band Assjack and Madison’s Those Poor Bastards, whose morbid “gothic country” continues its own march toward damnation on last year’s Satan Is Watching.Double Door 1572 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL
