Brooklyn, New York hip-hop duo Timeflies believes that if some is good, then more is better, practicing that principle by absolutely flooding the Internet with their music and videos. Since March of 2011, MC Cal and producer Rez have been kicking out new videos every Tuesday—they call it Timeflies Tuesdays, of course—starting out with video diary-type stuff and graduating to original tunes celebrating Space Jam and reworking the Fox NFL theme song, all the while consistently generating hundreds of thousands of hits each time. In October 2011, the duo put out a free album, The Scotch Tape, of glitchy pop-rap tunes like “Switchblade” and “Turn It Up” that wouldn’t sound out of place on mainstream radio.
