As far as comeback singles go, they don't come more self-explanatory than Voxtrot's "Berlin Without Return… " Combining equal parts quarter-life crisis and homesickness, frontman Ramesh Srivastava's declaration of "I don't know you, baby, you don't know me" may as well suffice as explanation for the band's lengthy absence from performing and its subsequent return. The band has been scant with the details about a proper follow-up to 2007's Voxtrot, but "Berlin" and the airy, Beatles-quoting synth-pop of "Trepanation Party" signal a new, contemplative era for Voxtrot.
