Following a pair of wildly received reunion shows the same weekend as the Pitchfork Music Festival, Cap'n Jazz makes an odd detour into Wicker Park Fest, where it headlines over (!!!) seminal post-punk band Mission Of Burma on the festival's North Stage Saturday night. (The novelty of the Burma reunion has worn off over the past six years, but it's still going strong for Cap'n Jazz.) The two-day festival draws a ton of hip bands, topped off by Holy Fuck, LA Riots, and Cap'n Jazz the first night. The second night features Plants & Animals, Baroness, Torche, and Local H, among many others.
