Charlie’s Ale House in Andersonville doesn’t have the most elaborate food around, but the salads, burgers, and sandwiches available are solid and plentiful, as are house favorites like homestyle pot roast and meatloaf. More elaborate choices include roasted prime rib and grilled New York strip steak. What the menu lacks in fancy food, however, it makes up for in booze—there are at least 20 beers on tap and more than 50 imported and domestic beers, plus a strong wine list.
