If you can make it past this AP article’s opening paragraph—in which Ethan Coen’s “neck roll” is compared to Stevie Wonder’s, and his blank stare is imagined to “focus on the improvisational teleprompter of his mind”—you’ll learn that the filmmaker's off-Broadway play has moved to a new venue. Titled Almost An Evening, the collection of three one-acts just opened at New York’s The Theatres At 45 Bleecker Street after a limited engagement earlier this year; the triptych is directed by Neil Pepe, stars F. Murray Abraham (as God), and deals with everything from purgatory to a British spy to the struggle between divine love and judgment.
