Johnny Depp is teaming up with Warner Bros. for a feature-length adaptation of the 1960s cult series Dark Shadows, the supernatural soap opera that followed the lives of vampires, werewolves, witches, and zombies long before Passions was around. Depp is reportedly a longtime obsessive fan of the show, having stated in interviews that his childhood wish was to be vampire patriarch Barnabas Collins. No word yet on whether Depp will assume his dream role for the adaptation.
