Forbes' annual list of top-earning deceased celebrities includes 13 dead stars that earned a combined $232 million in the past 12 months, more than 98.6 percent of the living population. Elvis Presley re-claimed his top spot by earning $49 million from beyond the grave. John Lennon was second at $44 million, while Kurt Cobain--last year's No. 1--didn't make the top 13.
