Jeff Foxworthy. Animated sitcom. Dysfunctional family. NASCAR. These words were surely written on index cards during a pitch meeting with executives from the Fox network, and it apparently worked: Variety is reporting that the network has greenlit an animated show starring Foxworthy "about a dysfunctional family set in the world of NASCAR."
Foxworthy, a voice-over veteran with The Fox And The Hound 2 and Racing Stripes to his credit, will voice the show with some other actors TBA. Suddenly, American Dad doesn't seem so bad.
