From Variety: Ellen Page, the star of indie hit Juno, has signed on to portray a teenage roller derby player named Bliss in the upcoming Whip It!. (Devo, get ready to add a new wing to your mansions.) The film will also mark the directorial debut of Drew Barrymore. Says Page of her new boss and project: “She’s proven herself as an actress and a producer, and I have no doubt she’ll bring great vision and creativity to the director’s chair. I can’t wait to kick ass on wheels!”
