Probably! Variety reports he's "in talks" to helm Marvel's Thor movie, which tends to be Variety-ese for "it's all over except for the signing." Is this a good idea? That's another question. Branagh hasn't handled a big project since his Hamlet in 1996, which kind of sucked, although it didn't suck as bad as his Frankenstein a few years earlier. Still, with the right Thor, it could work. May we suggest this guy?
