Mariah Carey surpasses Elvis in number one singles

It's a given that as time marches on, the legends of rock 'n' roll past will be swept under the rug by flavors of the month, but few probably saw this coming: Mariah Carey has officially surpassed Elvis Presley in number-one hits on the Billboard charts thanks to her new single "Touch My Body." The song, her 18th number one (quick, name the other 17--without using Wikipedia!) makes her second only to The Beatles, who have 20, and it's likely that she'll close that gap even further soon with her next single featuring T-Pain. And then? Armageddon, my friends.
