Brad Pitt has officially signed on to Quentin Tarantino's WWII epic Inglorious Bastards. Pitt will play a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles eight Jewish-American soldiers to battle the Nazis in the Dirty Dozen-esque action film. Tarantino hopes to have the movie ready for next year's Cannes Film Festival and will begin shooting in Germany on October 13.
