What's less essential than an acoustic album? How about a live acoustic album? At least that's what logic and precedent would dictate. But the Foo Fighters' recent "afoostic" tour defied both; for proof, check out the upcoming CD & DVD release chronicling the tour, Skin And Bones.

For their first-ever acoustic tour, Foo Fighters expanded to eight people, with original member Pat Smear on guitar, a violinist, a keyboardist, and a percussionist joining frontman Dave Grohl and company. Although the tour was designed to support the second disc of last year's In Your Honor, the band explored songs from other albums as well. To wit, here's the track listing for Skin And Bones:
