Video: Michael Richards' apology on Letterman

Michael Richards contributed a jawdropping follow-up to his impressively jawdropping Web video debut by appearing Monday night on The Late Show With David Letterman on the invitation of Jerry Seinfeld. Richards is clearly shellshocked and despondent during the nearly seven-minute clip, and he practically begs the awkwardly tittering audience to believe that he's not a racist. In other words, it's pretty excruciating to watch. So here it is!
