C-List Celebrities Memorialized On Trading Cards

Former child/porn (but not child porn) star Scott Schwartz (A Christmas Story) has partnered with Upper Deck for one of the more bizarre cross-marketing ploys in recent memory: Trading cards commemorating faded TV and movie stars like Corey Feldman, Leif Garrett, Todd Bridges, and Anthony Michael Hall--and featuring the stars' personal autographs--will be randomly inserted into Upper Deck's Baseball Spectrum 2007 series (due this spring). According to this E!Online article:

The set serves both the collector, say, hot for Hall-of-Fame-bound Ripken memorabilia, and the collector, say, hot for a "May-o-nnaise!" rendering by Officer and a Gentleman Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr.

Scoff if you must, but apparently a card featuring David Faustino sold for $30 on eBay.
