A bigger home for Buffalo Exchange
With the once disposable American lifestyle now taboo and the act of “going green” becoming a cultural phenomenom, Buffalo Exchange is in the perfect position as a retailer. Ever hip on the recycling tip, the Arizona-originated company has been buying and selling used clothing in Colorado since 1995, taking the hassle out of thrifting by offering a hand-picked selection of gently worn items for every style on a limited budget. Today, Aug. 29, Buffalo will be celebrating a 1000-square-foot expansion to its current 13th Avenue location in Denver with a grand re-opening block party, in conjunction with its neighbors, City, O’ City, Moxie Salon, and Pandora Jewelry. The party will feature performances by Widowers, The Pirate Signal, Houses, and an odd paring of the Vitamins with Ben Kronberg, as well as games, prizes, and a spot to snap a yearbook-style photo.
