Fans of high-quality, thinking-man’s metal with moody atmospherics and goth leanings have been left wanting for a rooting interest these past few years, but the drought is finally ending. Today the Maynard James Keenan-fronted, Billy Howerdel-driven, James Iha-sporting supergroup, A Perfect Circle, announced its first North American tour in six years.
The tour kicks off May 22 in Columbus, Ohio, wends its merry but brooding way throughout the nation through early to mid summer, and ends in Pittsburgh on August 9. Ticket info is promised “soon” and there’s no word (yet) on a new album, but you can join the legions of fans currently destroying the freshly relaunched aperfectcircle.com with their frantic refreshing for info on both. In the meantime, enjoy scouring the complete list of tour dates below, and commence complaining that your city has been excluded, supposing it has.
