Bikini Kill seeks fan input for online archives
Remember when every moment of every day wasn’t immortalized in the form of a Facebook status update or a tweet? Bikini Kill does, and it has faith that its fans do too. The pioneering riot-grrl group—which lasted from 1990 to 1998—is looking to fill out its own history (and impact) by collecting stories, photos, and videos from anyone who was there. Maybe you saw Bikini Kill play in a barn or were hassled by your mom for listening to Revolution Girl Style Now! too loud. Whatever your story entails, Bikini Kill wants to hear it. Contributions can be sent to bkillarchive@gmail.com or posted directly to the archive at bikinikillarchive.wordpress.com.
