Blame it on the altitude: Pennywise guitarist drunkenly brawls with Alesana, the Denver police

The days when punk-rockers and police officers clashed on a semi-regular basis are mostly a remnant of the past, but that didn’t stop Pennywise and the Denver Police Department from kicking it way old-school at Warped Tour this past Sunday: After drunken shenanigans led Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge and bassist Randy Bradbury into a scuffle on Alesana’s tour bus, the cops were called and shit got real in a hurry. Dragge told Alternative Press that the responding officers pulled out Tasers and shocked him about five times as they restrained him. Dragge went on to take responsibility for the mix-up that caused the altercation, as well as the behavior that caused the brawl on the bus citing, among other things, being a little bit wasted. (Those lightweight California types really can’t handle their liquor at this altitude, can they?)
