Devendra Banhart hits the road, puts out website

Devendra Banhart, that doe-eyed folkie from San Fran, just announced a short tour to promote his latest album What Will We Be. The two-week outing—which includes his band The Grogs—starts March 18 in Seattle, hits up Canada, continues down the coast, and then ends here March 30 at the Ogden Theatre. Banhart has apparently also taken a bold step into the millennium with his new website (still under construction). The site launches March 15 and will feature “video clips and photos by Banhart while on the road, his original artwork, and details about upcoming live shows,” according to the press release. Wow, man, welcome to 2001.
