Just Announced DeVotchKa in-store at Twist & Shout Feb. 24

If you missed DeVotchKa’s annual Valentine’s Day show this weekend at the Fillmore—or if you were there, but your longing for aching, lovelorn gypsy-pop wasn’t sated—you’ll be excited to hear that a special, live in-store performance for the band is slated for 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at Twist & Shout (2508 E. Colfax Ave., 303-722-1943). To gain admittance to this sure-to-be packed event, all you need to do is pre-order a copy of a the band’s latest album (if you haven’t been paying attention, that’d be 100 Lovers, due March 1) at Twist & Shout. Pre-sales start tomorrow morning (Feb. 15), and chances are good the golden tickets (or wristbands, in this case) will go fast. Don’t dawdle if “see DeVotchKa perform in a record store” is on your bucket list—this could be your best chance for a long, long while.

If that doesn’t slake your thirst for in-store concert action, Twist & Shout also has in-stores lined up for Jaden Carlson at 6 p.m. on Feb. 21 and Ryan Bingham at 4 p.m. on Feb. 25.
