DJ Tyler Jacobson brings new dance night to Paris Wine Bar

Tyler “Danger” Jacobson is back behind the turntables. The well-seasoned Denver DJ—who recently left his weekly residency at Lipgloss, a night he co-founded—just announced a new monthly gig: Split at Paris Wine Bar. The night, which debuts Saturday, Feb. 20, and includes co-host DJ Jake Ryan, will steer clear of current trends in dance music and will instead focus on indie rock with an emphasis on ’90s Britpop and soul. “We don’t want to be responsible for filling a dance floor with Timberlake and Metro Station fans,” Jacobson says. “Split isn’t a night for people graduating from Radio Disney.”
