Denver party-people, you’ll need to mothball that S&M Abraham Lincoln costume until the next time Electric Six is in town: The fun-loving electro-rock outfit’s scheduled show Friday, Oct. 29 at the Larimer Lounge was among a five-night stretch of shows cancelled as one member of the Six returns home for a family emergency. No rescheduled dates are in the cards, so you’ll need to trade in your tickets for beer money. On the bright side, if you’re hell-bent on re-enacting that “Gay Bar” video in public, Halloween’s just around the corner, so you can get a little use out of that stovepipe hat and leather chest harness if you don’t mind explaining the concept of Gaybraham Lincoln to everyone in town.
