Fell, “A Silent Goodbye”

You’d better find a comfortable chair and settle in before you click the play button: Fell’s latest yet-to-be-released track “A Silent Goodbye” is no mere three-minute pop song. It’s a 13-minute space-rock epic that layers the dark side of Pink Floyd, bite-sized teases of Hum’s cosmic-ray distortion, and enough drones to keep Spiritualized floating in space for at least a couple of orbits. For now, the tune’s slated for a digital release through the band’s own label, Vacant Songs, as Fell tries to figure out if there’s a physical format suited for such a lengthy single. Any ideas?
