For the earth’s sake, share a ride to the Mile High Music Festival
VIPs are rolling into the Mile High Music Festival this year in the backseat of a cramped Cavalier, or at least some of them are. In order to relieve traffic congestion and promote sensible ride-sharing to this weekend’s festival, organizers have announced the return of the Mile High Music Festival Carpool Sweepstakes, where carpool groups of four or more—who also decorate their vehicle to show off their greening efforts—will be able to access a special parking lot (presumably one close to the gates that will allow you to skip the indignity of hiking through the industrial wasteland of Commerce City). Judges will be out each day to award the best-dressed car with single-day VIP passes. Better start soaping silly phrases on your windows now in preparation.
