I Am The Dot releases video for “River Of Solitude”

I Am The Dot—a.k.a. Zachary Tipton of Young Coyotes—dropped us a line today to share the strangely mesmerizing new video for his song “River Of Solitude.” The song is a typically pretty slice of I Am The Dot indie pop. The video, by Michael Gonzales, is a dark and surreal accompaniment that adds an edgy weirdness to the song via a charcoal grey color scheme and off-kilter visuals.

Tipton also teased a pair of new tracks that should be out soon—“Last Minute of Eternity” and “Inside (Outside).” Once those are released, there won’t be any more new I Am The Dot until he finishes his long-rumored full-length. In the meantime, you can catch up with his work to date via A Collection Of Songs (2008 - 2010), available via iTunes, which collects his various EPs and singles into one, big, charmingly quirky bunch.
