Kick back and enjoy a whiskey and a Western
Enjoy a nice whiskey while you admire Kurt Russell's impressive 'stache

There are some films that go hand-in-hand with a certain food or drink: The Big Lebowski and a White Russian, The Human Centipede and a cup of creamed corn with nuts in it, or pretty much any Western with a nice whiskey.
That last, classic combo is coming together at The Wildlife Experience’s cleverly named Whiskey And A Western tomorrow night. The Western to be featured is 1993’s Tombstone, featuring the rugged Western manliness of Kurt Russell. Unlike certain other Kurt Russell films (cough Sky High cough), it isn’t entirely necessary to be hammered on whiskey to enjoy Tombstone—it is easily the best version of the Wyatt Earp story and about an hour shorter than the one with Kevin Costner. Even so, it would be a mistake to miss out on seeing the classic on a 60-foot screen while drinking whiskey.
The plan calls for a variety of fine whiskeys to be served “neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water and in a featured recipe,” plus some food. That’s right, Tombstone and whiskey four ways on a Friday night, and you’re not likely to get pistol-whipped while you enjoy the show. (Although there’s no guarantee you won’t be, either, so caveat emptor.)
