Just Announced Korn and Rob Zombie bring on the metal with Mayhem Fest in July

Rob Zombie Fist pump with Rob Zombie this July, dude.

More Just Announced

No word has come from the Monolith camp since the fest's November 2009 flat broke revelation, so what is left for summer concert goers to look forward to? There's always the Underground Music Showcase, which brought more than 200 local and national bands like Langhorne Slim and Megafaun to South Broadway last year. Or maybe Mile High Music Festival will again delight/perplex us with hefty list of random acts like last year's Tool, The Fray, and Widespread Panic combination. But until the summer music gods drop epic lineups on us, there's always Mayhem Festival at the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre July 18. Yes, all of your wildest dreams finally come true as Korn and Rob Zombie unite—along with Norma Jean, Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, and others—for a wicked (and most likely hot) day of, dare we still call it, nu-metal? No word yet on ticket prices, but with a metalcore, er, death metal lineup like that, the festival is truly priceless.
